Busworld Photography

Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

ATGH

In the same way as the companies that run Switzerland's mountain railways are famous some of the private bus companies with their long history are also well known. One of these is ATGH which are the initials of places it serves including Thun where this photo of an FBW C50U was taken in 1990.

Christopher Leach Transport Photography

christopher: I am probably better known for my bus photography than my work as an artist which is about right as being fairly contented I don't do much drawing these days. My love is the older buses in Britain that I grew up with but keep my interest in buses alive through my love of photography. The streets are not as friendly as they were to photographers but having transitioned as Jojo bus drivers tend to stop and smile for me instead of making rude gestures.
