Rush Hour in Porto

When I was in Porto in Summer 1984 this was one of the newest motorbuses a Volvo B10R No.844

  1. The Volvo B10R with bodywork by Camo was the standard urban bus for many companies for many years. Standard length as well as articulated buses. Portugal must have had hundreds of them all together.

  2. They must have only just been entering service when I was there as I saw just a few.

  3. Correct. I think they really started to flood the fleets in 1984 and 1985. The same Camo coachwork was also used to rebody old Volvo's by the way. So they seemed to be numerous.
