Busworld Photography

Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

Duple 320 and 340 at Bretonside

Wilfreda of Adwick-le-Street had a pair of these Scania coaches with Duple 320 bodies delivered in 1989. No.37 G21 HKY was parked alongside a re-registered Leyland Tiger of Mayne's F55 HNC at Plymouth Bretonside showing us a comparison between it and the bigger Duple 340.

Christopher Leach Transport Photography

christopher: I am probably better known for my bus photography than my work as an artist which is about right as being fairly contented I don't do much drawing these days. My love is the older buses in Britain that I grew up with but keep my interest in buses alive through my love of photography. The streets are not as friendly as they were to photographers but having transitioned as Jojo bus drivers tend to stop and smile for me instead of making rude gestures.
