Busworld Photography

Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

RC 932 AKG 282A Caerphilly Buslink

Formerly a National Express coach with National Welsh, this demoted Leyland Tiger Laser had been devolved back into the resurrected Red and White carrying Caerphilly Buslink branding but must have felt quite at home nearing Victoria Coach Station on a trip away from Wales.

Christopher Leach Transport Photography

christopher: I am probably better known for my bus photography than my work as an artist which is about right as being fairly contented I don't do much drawing these days. My love is the older buses in Britain that I grew up with but keep my interest in buses alive through my love of photography. The streets are not as friendly as they were to photographers but having transitioned as Jojo bus drivers tend to stop and smile for me instead of making rude gestures.
