Enough Variety to Drive You Around The Bend DAK 303V

Heading for Cannock, what a fascinating place that was at this time for these unlikely Chaserider ariculated MAN buses used to rub shoulders with West Midland's Ailsas, MRN former London DMS Fleetlines, and of course an assortment of Warstone's vehicles including of course Leyland Half-Cabs just to mention a few.

  1. And the Bristol Omnibus coach with its short-lived Weston and Wells branding, from when BOC decided that each depot should run under its own name instead of the corporate "Bristol" name. The only name that survived was Cityline (for Bristol city services), everything else becoming Badgerline a couple of years later.

  2. It's surprising though the number of operators around the world who have displayed depot allocations on the buses and as you say local branding. Of course it's come back into fashion but I would like to see individual local liveries too as in the old days.
