A shortage of buses obviously led to the Crosville buying this MCW bodied Daimler Fleetline which was quickly pressed into service still in Merseyside colours. If I remember rightly when delivered this batch went across the Mersey to the Wirral and entered service in a blue 'Birkenhead' version of the PTE colours.
