D913 URG; Low Fell Coaches

By the mid-Eighties Bedford and Ford coaches had gone out of favour not being quite rugged or fast enough for the motorway age when compared to a more beefy Leyland Leopard or Volvo B10M. But with the need for simpler more cost effective single-deckers Bedfords seemed to find a nitch with certain independents for bus work but sadly it was not to last. Here in Newcastle on Tyne is a Plaxton Bustler bodied Bedford YMT.
