With similar demanding operating conditions both Potteries and M&D were chosen by the NBC to do double-decker bus trials. Even in summer the light can be a bit flat but the air quality was not helped as an open-top came roaring passed in this scene of a Metrobus Mark2 in Chatham close to the garage.
