Ribble Atlantean now called North Western RTF 635M

There were still plenty of double-deckers rushing about in Liverpool during the Nineties including many Atlanteans like this former Ribble Park Royal bodied AN68 which had been transferred to a locally devolved entity for services around Merseyside and SW.Lancashire and even though the name was apt it  had nothing to do with the old North Western Road Car of Stockport.

  1. Liveries like that of the new North Western looked fresh and, dare I say it, exciting back in the day. Now they just look very 1980s - they haven't aged well at all.

    But at least they're not as boring as those of the Big Three today...

  2. I agree with you Ross at least there was something to cater for every taste and at least in this instance they tried to keep them looking smart.
