Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

BVG Berlin 1182 on the 211 to Wannsee
As elsewhere as subsidies
are cut and costs increase bus manufacturers realised there was no such
thing as a 'free lunch' as traditional markets gave up local loyalties
as they now strived to costs costs first. BVG of West Berlin had been
reliant on mainly MAN and Mercedes buses since the war but that was all
to change and the advent of a batch of Volvo buses started to add a bit
of variety.
