Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

Atlas Royal Tiger Doyan A200 RUR
We are more familiar with the Leyland bodied version of the top of the range coach the Doyan but a number also received Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodies like this example seen in East Anglia, possibly Bury St. Edmunds.
That woman looks like she's preparing her handbag to use as a weapon should you dare to venture past her... ;)
I didn't realise that any Royal Tigers had Paramount bodies rather than Leyland's own body. Given how good the Doyen body was, how much presence it had, it seems strange to me that an operator would have chosen the fairly run-of-the-mill 3500 instead.
I've had worse dirty looks than that lol, she's a pussycat. No doubt Leyland was aware that people might want a cheaper option and made provision for other bodybuilders like Plaxton. Not very many were built so it was something of a rarity and some of those would have been demonstrators.
