Busworld Photography

Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

Burnley: Not such a good Good Friday

This Lancashire town was pretty quiet on Good Friday in 1996 and this girl had a date but the cad stood her up. A few Burnley and Pendle buses were out including this Volvo B10M which showed how attractive the angular Alexander P series body looked in an attractive livery.

Christopher Leach Transport Photography

christopher: I am probably better known for my bus photography than my work as an artist which is about right as being fairly contented I don't do much drawing these days. My love is the older buses in Britain that I grew up with but keep my interest in buses alive through my love of photography. The streets are not as friendly as they were to photographers but having transitioned as Jojo bus drivers tend to stop and smile for me instead of making rude gestures.
