Even the mundane Leyland National could look a bit more interesting and worthy of a photo in a different livery. Like many others this had once worn NBC leaf-green before Southdown was split and Brighton and Hove District was reborn along with it's attractive red and cream. Also of note this was one of the less common two-door variety.
