Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

National Express Caetano Levante FJ61 EWM
When they first appeared on the scene the Caetano Levante certainly had that wow factor, but of course like this one at Wolverhampton they became just as familiar as the old Plaxtons were.
I'm afraid the Levante doesn't do it for me. I think it's because there's too much brightwork at the front but nothing to balance it out on the sides.
They're nice enough to travel in, though, with the standard interior having plenty of legroom. You do have to hope you get a good driver rather than one with lead feet, though!

Ross I put this on my other blog too and a driver told me they are wonderful to drive.
