Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

Lothian White Liveried Atlantean in Edinburgh GSC664X
Although always beautifully turned out I always felt t that the stark black and white livery was a bit too different from the usual dark red on the city's buses in Edinburgh
I think you've posted the wrong photo for the caption (or vice versa), Christopher. Looking through the front upstairs window you can see the full roof, and it's on the airport express service rather than a city tour.
Apropos of nothing much, the 100 was/is also the quickest way to get to Edinburgh Zoo so modern journey planners insist on offering it as the option to get there from Waverley station (or back again) - but it has (or at least had) a special pricing structure so ordinary day tickets weren't valid, and that was a real pain for trying to work out what time to leave the zoo to get back to Waverley for a specific train!

Thanks Ross, my mistake was in that white livery I took it for granted it was an open-topper.
