BUSWORLD PHOTOGRAPHY

I AM CHRISTOPHER LEACH THE ARTIST. I started this blog so that I can share with everyone my vast collection of transport photographs showing a personal and nostalgic view of the industry with images that span some 45 years taking in the U.K and some of Europe. I have no darkroom and so rather than being the perfectionist after tidying them up I upload the images warts and all, and even those that won't scan squarely or are scratched. In a way it adds age and character. You are all free to download these for your personal use but please remember I still own them and you are not just free to use them without prior permission for any knd of publishing. Click on images to enlarge them and if you want to see more leave your comments or visit my website for the mother-site with galleries including those Buses & Girls: PICTUREWORLD

It's Gone Off The Rails so I Wil Love You And Leave You

It looks like my old blog won't function properly any more so thanks for that Blogger. I would like to thank you all for visiting me and especially those who have been good enough to leave comments. Those who still want to enjoy my photography can still see new postings by visiting me at Flickr where I am 'Call Sign Jojo'.

I haven't posted anything on the blog I started for years now, but Google have certainly messed up the reading list on the "new Blogger". Why they can't leave well alone, I don't know.

I'll miss your photos here, don't think my old Flickr account works anymore. Ho hum.

Thanks Ross, I think Blogger have made it easier for people to use their aps and maybe they want it work more like social media. I'm sure you can get back on to Flickr again you just have to register or log in.

That's a shame, Christopher. Have enjoyed viewing your shots of buses and trams, usually in working locations, and your commentaries. All the best.

Certainly the thumbnail view in Firefox has gone awry, but the picture appears perfectly if clicked on.
I will miss the near-daily postings, especially the older stuff before my own photographic exploits, and you've certainly given me some inspiration to not take everything as a three-quarter shot.

I could carry on but when these changes start they tend to continue so perhaps it would only be a matter of time before it all came to an end anyway, also I don't really like posting when it stops working properly spoiling the experience and maybe giving some the impression I'm a wally who can't do a blog lol.

I am very sad to see this blog come to an end. i've been a fan of many years. i don't like Flickr much unfortunately. I find it difficult to navigate, and it often divorces the pictures of the corresponding explanations and commentarym which amybe for art stuff is okay, but when you're looking at buses maybe isn't.
