I used to drive a Europa (body #2172) for Tates of Markyate. A superb vehicle to drive and carry pax.
Yes the DAF chassis in Britain was one of the best kept secrets at that time and I used to like the Europa too with it's crisp styling as well
Only problem with the DAF chassis was the front brakes. If they were adjusted as per manual, they squealed. I did my own adjustment and never had a problem. My one was the 'high floor' model with the shallow windows.
