I AM CHRISTOPHER LEACH THE ARTIST. I started this blog so that I can share with everyone my vast collection of transport photographs showing a personal and nostalgic view of the industry with images that span some 45 years taking in the U.K and some of Europe. I have no darkroom and so rather than being the perfectionist after tidying them up I upload the images warts and all, and even those that won't scan squarely or are scratched. In a way it adds age and character. Dennis Trident in Wolverhampton Corporation Green BL53 EDF

Last week when I went to Wolverhampton I almost left my camera at home but I'm glad I didn't as the West Midlands Dennis Trident-Alexander 4535 painted in the old Wolverhampton Corporation green and cream colours had eluded me. I had seen it several times but I was always just too late to get a photo but surprisingly that day it stopped right opposite my friends shop on of all things Route 4 which normally has branded Wright bodied Volvo single-deckers on it. Previously when I glimpsed it before it was going to Northwood Park but I expect it was covering for a breakdown.
