I do not think it is owned by the railway, since they used the striped livery of the locomotives on buses also. But I am not an expert on that one. Nevertheless, this type op bus had a very futuristic design for those days. Not many of them have been made though. I am sure at least a bunch of my friends in Portugal will adore seeing a photo of this bus type.

Another great memory from your colection.
I've recently shot this bus in Castelo de Paiva, proving the long life of this Volvo B10M !
Today it belongs to Joalto Douro, even if it still has the previous onwers colour scheme, Asadouro.
No doubt it was the popularity of the Volvo B10M that forced Leyland to replace the Leopard with the more beefy Tiger. Pity it was not as good otherwise like the rugged Volvo there might still be rather more around. Leopards though went on for ever it was just those Duple and Plaxton bodies that couldn't stand our rain salt and ice.
