
I cannot give you too many details about this trolleybus photographed in 1984 but I expect Coimbra No.30 was bodied at least by Salvador Caetano.
Many know my more recent genre Buses and Girls photography as those earlier buses I really like have all gone so now I enjoy my bus hobby more for the photography. As well as being an artist I owned a small transport business before I retired but today I have a little job too driving a minibus dong a school run to Wolverhampton in the afternoon and occasionally other jobs. It gets me out and about and satisfies my childhood ambition to drive a bus.

I can tell you that this photo was taken at Praça da Republica...
The pavement remains the same even today.
Sorry to run this plug here, but the original trolleybuses of Coimbra, which lasted until not too long ago (and I belive one is still there, preserved, albeit with a newer body) were some Swiss built trolleybuses.
A friend of mine has recently been instrumental in producing very convincing HO scale models, some of which are, I beleive, still available.. I have no involvement in the venture, I'm just announcing this because they are such nice models.
