BUSWORLD PHOTOGRAPHY

I AM CHRISTOPHER LEACH THE ARTIST. I started this blog so that I can share with everyone my vast collection of transport photographs showing a personal and nostalgic view of the industry with images that span some 45 years taking in the U.K and some of Europe. I have no darkroom and so rather than being the perfectionist after tidying them up I upload the images warts and all, and even those that won't scan squarely or are scratched. In a way it adds age and character. You are all free to download these for your personal use but please remember I still own them and you are not just free to use them without prior permission for any knd of publishing. Click on images to enlarge them and if you want to see more leave your comments or visit my website for the mother-site with galleries including those Buses & Girls: PICTUREWORLD

German Tourists: Camera Sheiks

A BIT OF HEAT
I'm sorry about the camera shake on this one but I haven't published anything from Israel recently so I thought I would use it. A mid-day worshipper tries to get out the desert heat at the Communal beach settlement of Neviot whilst German tourists as usual step in front of the shot. I'm afraid I know very little about this big yellow Volvo bus.

Volvo B58-55, possibly modelyear 1976. Body by Ha'Argaz, model code 421.

The operator is regional council Sha'ar Ha'Negev ("The Negev's gate").

Next time, please tell the guy to stand clear of the registration plate (690-180??)...

Yes it's annoying I know but some people deliberately seem to want to spoil our pictures and then look at you as if to say how dare you photograph me. Thanks for your information, still have a few more Israel buses to come yet.
